A reader writes... My husband was recently laid off from his job and, though I have a part-time job, things are getting pretty scary. I’m in my 20s, and one thing I’ve been considering is selling my eggs. I read an article that said a woman can make between $5,000 and $10,000 by donating to help an infertile couple. That would be enough to let us pay our bills and scrape by for at least six more months without losing our home. Maybe by then my husband will have another job. What do you think of this idea?
